Cache Hunt #1
We had our first cache hunt on Saturday at Shenetaha Creek Park in Malta, NY. EagleO-10, StillwaterGeoff, GabeBond008 and Saratoga Lake Pirate all showed up. We found both caches within a matter of hours and it turned out to be a great day. The first cache was a little more difficult. We found the general area pretty quickly but it wasn't until lunch when EagleO-10 spotted the container. The second cache was a little easier. We got the area and it wasn't 10 seconds into the hunt when StillwaterGeoff spotted it. Thanks to who came. We will let you know when the next one is.
Cache Hunt #2
Wow! For cache attempt number 2 Eagle O-10, Stillwater Geoff, GabeBond008, and Saratoga Lake Pirate went to Kinns Road Park and found 4 caches! It all went perfect with the exception of the cold and the squirrels. We even thought we saw Rusty O Junk ! We had a great day and can’t wait for next month's cache.
Cache Hunt #3
Great day! We had a lot of fun completing Rusty’s Christmas Cache 2004. We had a great time, with the exception of the rogue undercover FBI agent, the wolves and GabeBond008’s stress ball. All in all, we had a lot of fun.
Cache Hunt #4
One nice cache today and our first in the snow. It’s PEZ-Tacular is a cool cache. We traded some PEZ and had some fun on the playground … with the exception of the falling. Cant wait ’till next month!
Cache Hunt #5
Just goes to show, geocaching and snow don’t mix. Our first attempt was a failure and the second was cancelled but a last minute decision lead us to a nearby cache that we found quickly. EagleO-10, StillwaterGeoff, and Saratoga Lake Pirate attended. It was originally planned to complete all the caches is Schuylerville but actually none were found. We will have to plan all of them for the summer. Cant wait!
