Part One: General Guidelines
I. Respect yours and others equipment, caches, property, and themselves.II. Respect the guidelines set forth and protect the lands and places we use.
III. Be enviromentally conscious.
IV. Practice Cache in Trash Out (C.I.T.O.) as much as possible.
Part Two: Hiding a Cache
I. Caches should not be hidden in an unsafe or unaccessable place. II. Caches should not be hidden in an illegal place where geocaching is prohibited.
III. Caches should not be hidden on private land without the permission of the owner.
IV. Caches should not be hidden anyplace that can not be regurally maintained and accessed by the owner.
V. Caches should not be buried or placed inside an urban container on anyplace that would require the cacher to use any tools.
VI. Make sure to record the correct GPS cooridinates when hiding a cache.
Part Three: Searching For / Finding a Cache
I. Always record your find in the logbook at the cache and on the website you found it. II. Wen finished place the cache back where you found it with all necissary covering so that it looks the same as before it was found.
Part Four: The Cache
I. Never leave any food, anything illegal or possibly offensive in a cache. II. When trading cache items always replace what you took with something of equal or greater value.
